PP woven bags are made from woven polypropylene material, giving them a stronger and more structured construction than lightweight non-woven bags. They are widely used for reusable shopping, supermarket grocery, retail, promotional and large-capacity carrying programs where durability, size and repeated use are important.
PP woven fabric can be used with or without lamination. Unlaminated constructions retain the visible woven texture, while laminated PP woven bags provide a smoother surface, a more structured appearance and easier wipe-clean maintenance. Glossy or matte laminated finishes can be selected depending on the required retail presentation.
One of the main advantages of laminated PP woven bags is their printing capability. Full-color rotogravure printing can support detailed graphics, repeat patterns and large-area branding, making it suitable for retail and supermarket programs with strong visual requirements. Because gravure printing normally involves cylinder and setup costs, it is generally more economical for larger production quantities. Other printing methods can be evaluated for simpler artwork or different order volumes.
PP woven material can be developed into shopping totes, grocery bags, wide-gusset shoppers, promotional bags, large reusable bags, storage bags and insulated bag outer shells. Side and bottom gussets can increase usable capacity, while webbing handles, Box-X stitching or extended handle structures can be selected where additional reinforcement is required.
Compared with softer textile bags, laminated PP woven bags have a firmer hand feel and are generally intended for wipe-clean maintenance rather than machine washing. Material construction, lamination, bag size, printing and handle design should therefore be selected according to the intended application.
